I hiked a mile to get to this beautiful barn. It was built in the late 1800s by the Daley family who settled this area of northern Escondido, California. It’s so rich in history and yet it has been taken care of so well you can almost imagine the settlers working in and around it today. I had a great time plein air painting this one while my three daughters drew and painted and played next to me. It is 8x10” and painted with oil paint on a hard pressed wood board called Gessobord. It’s easy to frame!Signed, varnished and unframed.
