At this time, I only do commissions for floral, landscape and still-life paintings. Just let me know what you have in mind.
I use the finest grade artists’ oils on archival, museum-quality, wood panels and canvas.
The finished painting is varnished for UV protection and easy cleaning.
HOW TO COMMISSION A PAINTING
1. Send me an email with your request and send me a photo (or several photos) of your requested subject and describe what kind of painting you have in mind.
2. I’ll send you one to three sketches showing ideas for composition and placement of the subject for your approval, and estimated time of completion. (Most commissions can be completed within two to three weeks.) After you approve a sketch or idea for the painting, you pay a non-refundable down payment of 50% of the total price.
3. I’ll send you photos as I near finishing your painting, and make every effort to accommodate any changes you might request. No further payment is required until the painting is finished. After the non-refundable 50% down payment you are under no further obligation to purchase the finished painting. If you decide not to purchase your final painting, I will make it available for purchase to the general public at the remainder of the commission price. I’m happy to say that, so far, everyone who has commissioned a painting was pleased with the result!
